PERC Teacher Job Fair

    Your standard 10' x 10' booth includes: 8' high back drape, 3' high side drape, one six-foot skirted table, two chairs, and one trash can. Your registration fee also includes the cost for two recruiters for a continental breakfast and lunch on the day of the event.

    If you are in need of power for your booth or extra chairs, please send your request to Nancy at cifrulak.events@gmail.com.

    Extra Booth: Due to space limits, only 1 extra booth per school district will be permitted this year.

    Employer Reception

    Due to our new location the employer reception (which was previously held the evening before the job fair) will not be held this year. We will provide information about dinner locations both within walking and driving distance.

    You must mention the PERC Teacher Job Fair to receive a special room rate. Make your reservations early, as the hotels fills quickly for the PERC event.

    Directions

    From Pittsburgh International Airport

    Head north on Airport Blvd toward Pittsburgh. Take the ramp to PA-60 S. Keep left at the fork to continue toward PA-60 S and merge onto PA-60 S. Continue on US-22 E/US-30 E. Continue on I-279 N. Take exit 7C toward State Hwy 28 N/Etna/Chestnut St/E Ohio St. Merge onto PA-28. Slight right at PA-28 N. Take exit 11 for PA-910 toward Harmar/Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-76. Turn left at Indianola Rd/PA-910. Turn right at Carson Rd/Rich Hill Rd . Go about 270 ft. to Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena will be on the right.

    From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76)

    Take Exit 48 and follow the sign to Pittsburgh. Travel approximately 1/2 mile until you notice Route 910 leading off to the right. (Adjacent to the new Target Store). Turn right onto Route 910 and proceed for approximately 1 mile until you almost reach the crest of the hill. You will see Rich Hill Road on your right. Turn right onto to Rich Hill Road and you will see the facility on your right after you cross over the Turnpike.

    Shipping Job Fair Materials

    If you would like to ship your materials prior to the fair, send 5 - 7 days in advance to:

    Be sure to have your return shipment label ready to affix to your materials following the job fair; materials are to be taken to the designated PISA booth after the job fair (details available at event). You are responsible for calling your shipper to schedule a pick up of your materials at the above address.

    Parking

    Parking, for school districts only, at the PISA is free.

     

    Employer Registration Packets & Event Agenda

    Employer registration packets will be available the day before the event at PISA beginning at 7:00 p.m. Packets can be picked up at the employer registration desk the day of the event.

    Your employer registration packet will include name badges, an agenda, an event directory, a blank interview schedule sheet (for your convenience), an event evaluation form, and lunch tickets for the number of representatives your school district has registered.

      NOTE: Please do not leave prior to3 pm --- some students are unable, due to Student Teaching, to be at the event in the morning. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Also, registering for the fair signs off your school district for any pictures taken and used to promote the job fair.

    Refund/Cancellation Policy:


    All cancellations MUST be received via email to sutton@cup.edu
    Cancellations received on or before March 18, 2009 will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. All refunds will be sent out after the fair is over.
    Cancellations received after March 18, 2009 will not receive a refund and payment is expected from those who have not yet paid.
