Resources for Members:

  • Members are required to register at least one Institutional Volunteer for the job fair by the designated date and attend the job fair. They must also attend the General Membership meeting in person or virtually.

New Member FAQ's

  • As a consortia member, your students and alumni can register for the PERC Education Job Fair at the discounted consortia rates. You’ll also receive invitations for you and your students to attend free webinars. Membership also offers the opportunity to network with colleagues at the annual summer General Membership Meeting.

  • Accredited colleges and universities located in western Pennsylvania, Ohio and northern West Virginia are eligible for membership.

  • Email treasurer@percjobfair.org to request PERC Institutional Membership. Additional details will be provided on how to become a member.

    Active membership is a requirement to be eligible to send students/alumni to the PERC Education Job Fair at the discounted consortia rates.

    PERC Constitution can be accessed upon request to the President.

  • As a consortia member, you are required to register at least one Institutional Volunteer to work at the job fair. One representative from your institution must also attend the General Membership meetings in person or virtually.

2025 Educator Excellence Award Winners

​The Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium is proud to announce the 2025 Educator Excellence Award! PERC recognizes up to 10 future and current educators with a one-time $500 cash prize every academic year. Congratulations to this year’s winners!

  • Eligibility:
    Candidates for this award must:

    • Be a current undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate student of a PERC Member Institution. Alumni of a PERC Member Institution are also eligible to apply.

    • Candidates must be eligible for certification by December 31, 2024  

    • Register as a candidate and participate in the March 2025 PERC Education Job Fair

    • Complete the application - accessible on the registration site.


    Application:
    Uploaded resume, biography, photo, and three scored questions:  

    • What motivates you to pursue education as a career?    

    • Tell us about one specific example as an educator (teaching experience) that shows your dedication to the profession and demonstrates your philosophy of education.  

    • Tell us about your experiences at PERC 2025.    


    Deadline:
    The deadline to submit all materials is no later than 5 p.m. on May 13, 2025.
