  • Dress: Professional attire is required for this event. A business suit is recommended.  Wear comfortable, yet professional shoes. 
  • Resumes: Bring plenty of resumes. Some districts will have multiple recruiters so you may need more than one resume for each school district that you plan to approach.
  • Registered Employers/School Districts: Over 220 employers (school districts and educational organizations) with over 600 recruiters are expected from 22 states and several international sites. Take this opportunity to research, prepare for, and speak to those of interest!
  • Online Directory: Check the online-directory frequently for updates on employers registered for the job fair and the certification areas for which they have current or anticipated vacancies.
  • Paper Directory: Upon arrival, you will be given a hard copy directory.   Review the event directory for updates, a floor plan, graduate school ads, and more!
  • MCC Floor Plan: The candidate entrance and check-in station are located in the South Hall.
  • Applications/Interviews: Recruiters will share application procedure information and may conduct screening interviews that  range from 5 - 30 minutes. Interviews will be held at their booth or in the Interview Area.
  • Contract Offers: Some employers may offer employment contracts on-site.
  • Hospitality: All candidates will receive a food and drink coupon during check- in. Redeem it at the concession stand for a refillable soft drink and one menu item (seasonal fruit cup, soft pretzel, hot dog, or french fries). Additional items can be purchased.
  • Wifi: Internet connectivity is not guaranteed. It is recommended that you bring a personal hot spot.
